According to the type of cargo:
• Reefer cargo: Cargo which requires to be kept at strictly controlled temperatures and within a certain environment throughout the journey, which is why a reefer container is used.
• Dry cargo: Containerized cargo that does not require refrigeration and is stowed according to its nature or characteristics.
• Loose cargo: Cargo not transported inside containers, and which uses other type of packaging and stowage directly inside the ship.
• Bulk cargo: Solid or liquid cargo transported inside the warehouse of a specialized ship.
